BBQlaw is built to keep your cooking on your device. No account, no tracking, no ads. There is no sign-in, no analytics or advertising SDKs, and BBQlaw does not track you across apps or websites.
Your iPhone reads the thermometer directly over Bluetooth. Temperatures, targets, probe names, and cook settings stay on your device. To arm the alarm, BBQlaw also writes your target back to the thermometer itself — nowhere else.
If — and only if — you tap “Link to your OpenClaw,” BBQlaw connects to our relay at bbqlaw.app and forwards your live cook so your own AI agent can read it. What's sent:
This is not tied to your name, email, or any account — there are none. The relay keeps only the latest reading and a short rolling history, keyed to that random token. Anyone you give the share link to can read that cook. Tap Unlink anytime to revoke the token and stop forwarding.
BBQlaw never requests your name, email, contacts, location, or photos. Bluetooth access is used solely to talk to your thermometer.
BBQlaw is rated 4+ and collects no personal data.
